This weeks Christmas show, The Day They Gave Babies Away by the Cavalcade of America radio show.
It's a true store that was also made into a movie called All Mine To Give, as well as made into a book. In some respects it's a very sad story. A large family lose both father and mother, and the children are going to be taken away, but the oldest boy, a 12 year old, fulfills his mother's last wishes and fines good homes for each of his siblings, and of all days, he chose Christmas.
I found it's a story of courage, and love. Young Robbie knew that on Christmas day, peoples hearts would be more open to help. Why? Just maybe because of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ and the reminder we have on Christmas of His love.
